Premier Palma picks

Palma, the cosmopolitan capital city of Majorca, is blessed with good weather all year round. The hip nighttime area of Santa Catalina is also bursting with bars, restaurants and shops.

Market hall

The Santa Catalina market is a must for foodies. There are also several excellent-value places to eat lunch here such as Bar Joan Frau, one of the area's most popular haunts. People come here from all over Palma to eat simple Majorcan dishes and drink a cold beer. There are only a couple of tables – most people eat standing at the bar.
